Mo Brooks Compared Biden’s Election To The Start of the Civil War.
Strange. That’s essentially the same thing folks south of the Mason-Dixon line said when Lincoln got elected. They said it would lead to civil war. You know those folks…the racist slave-owning seditious insurrectionist traitorous scum that formed the Confederacy. Looks like Mo has shown us how to move full circle. After all, if you don’t study history, you’re doomed to repeat it.
How’d that end for “y’all”, Mo? Lemme ‘s’plain it to you. The North fought with one hand tied behind their back for most of the war, and the South still lost. The slaves were freed, but then “y’all” went all in on Jim Crow, The Lost Cause and the Ku Klux Klan. Y’know th’ Klan, Mo, 'cause you reek of 'em. They’re the guys that were so damn brave that they hid their faces behind bed sheets.
Funny thing. We have the right to bear arms and the right to vote. Rhetorical question: Why do you suppose folks like Mo are so damn hot and bothered about elevating the sacrosanct right to bear arms while also denigrating and depressing the right to vote?
The real answer is because they want to rule by “Might makes right” and to Hell with democracy. They’re right wing fascists. They believe in democracy only as long as only their votes count, and they’ll use their bullets to enforce just that.

“Mawl” Brooks for Senate
Iron Clads have changed a lot as the years have gone by.
Not that it’s gonna happen, but Americans move all the time. It could be that whatever your job is or whatever area it is in might start moving to the United States. You could move with it. Like for example all those many thousands of autoworkers whose plants closed in the northern states while plants opened in the former Confederacy had to. Wages might be a lot lower like happened to them, which is basically why their jobs moved (plus the massive bribes and free infrastructure built for them by those totally not socialist or fascist at all states and localities).
Or if the economy stayed similar but you didn’t like the new voting restrictions, cutting social services, no Medicare, no unemployment insurance, lack of infrastructure spending, cutting worker comp, no incentives to put solar panels on your house or buy an electric car and all the rest that would start to happen in your new small government except for if you want an abortion or get gay married state, you could move to the United States just like all those black people who left the South decades ago or anyone who moved out to California or Arizona from the Northeast for various reasons. Or our ancestors (not counting those forcibly brought here) did when their European feudal economies were collapsing while industry was expanding here.
No Mo…you don’t GET to be in the government that you actively root against. NO FKN WAY. Civil War? You DEFINITELY won’t be part of the ‘Union’. Kiss off.
For some reason, historical exoduses seem out of place for the moment. Considering the demographics on a state like Texas are becoming more liberal by the day, surrender is hasty. Besides, you make it seem like every liberal in the state is infinitely mobile and financially flexible enough to begin again. And then all the Blue states will start griping about all the Texans occupying space.
