Like I needed him to say this…what else would he say? It’s not reassuring in the least to state the obvious.
They just conjure up $1.5T(that we know about so far) with no discussion in Congress, and give it to the banksters, just like the last time. But there is no money for medical.
All?
Piehole.
A-hole
P-hole
Does anyone believe ANYTHING these lying incompetents say?
They all should go back under the rocks they came from.
Can you even begin to imagine the chaos going on within the GOP these days as they realize the SS Trump is sinking rapidly?
You could likely build part of Donnie’s wall with all the bricks they’re shitting.
Or infrastructure of any sort, including medical. Or assistance for small business. Or service industry workers, who can’t work from home, or whom have been sent home, without pay.
We may approach eat the billionaires.
Unlikely to be appetizing, so we can figure out something else to do with them … whatever it takes - it’s time for that.
The economy will be kept afloat solely on toilet paper sales, so relax everyone. As long as everyone continues to mindlessly hoard toilet paper, the economy will be fine.
“The real issue is what economic tools are we going to use . . .
The real question is what economic tools do you have left after feeding a three year market sugar high on artificially low interest rates and running trillion dollar deficits during "the greatest economy that we’ve had in our history, the best.”?
Do you suppose those people think that anyone still believes anything they say? What would it be like to sit and say things that you know are untrue, and that you realize everyone who hears your voice also realizes that you are lying? If these people had a soul it would be crushing.
And the DJI, S&P, and NASDAQ futures are all trending down for tomorrow.
He could quote the most accurate prediction by an economist ever: In the long run we’re all dead. That would be an improvement on his free form lying n

With apologies to President Biden, Mnuchin is “full of shit”. There is not going to be a “big bounce back”. Instead, there is going to be a big hangover; many employers will be slow to bring back all their “pre virus” employees. Those employees that are brought back are going to have big debt loads that need to be handled before they start spending on anything other than bare necessities.
It’s hard to over-state the incredible job pelosi has done in pushing through the new legislation and forcing Trump to come on board. But the bill is still not nearly enough, because it does not inject liquidity into the pockets of workers and businesses; it is absolutely essential to keep buying power up and debt down during the crisis and while people are adopting some form of self-quarantine. This could have been done - and will ultimately need to be done - through the Federal Reserve system, injecting liquidity into the banks and - through them - literally into personal and business checking accounts. The mechanisms are in place to do this, today.
Completely OT
Was on the phone with my brother an hour or so ago and he informed me my Trump loving cousin is highly pissed because he’s lost a ton of money in his 401K. IOW’s, he’s souring on Donnie.
We can use leaves.
“I don’t think he got things wrong at all,” Mnuchin said.
“We were very clear that people misinterpreted the comment on cargo, and we immediately put out a statement to clarify that,” Mnuchin said.
(Today on ABC)
Like Biden said, he should keep his mouth shut.
It’s a warm, fuzzy feeling - just what the doctor ordered.
