Stunning developments tonight. It seems AG Keith Ellison’s office has taken over the prosecution of George Floyd’s murderers. I expect three more former Minneapolis cops will be charged by this time tomorrow. Meanwhile, cities across the country are…? I’m not sure how exactly to characterize it. Like the current plague, we’re in uncharted waters. Something’s gotta give.

The thing that cracks me up about that movie is that at the end every second person is just randomly shooting themselves in the head. Someone is like ‘hey can you pass me the butter’ to someone near him, turns around and then BANG, ‘ok i’ll get the butter myself’.
It’s almost comical. Well until the Russians reach Berlin.

Wait. You must have this wrong, Ralph. Because this would be cowardly, and I was specifically told he would rush an active shooter bent on assaulting a school. Gosh, do you think he could have been lying?
ETA: This was a bad move politically on his part. I don’t see how his supporters can spin this as somehow brave or noble, but I await their creativity.

I’d hold off on asking for federal charges for now, because Trump will just pardon them right after the election. If this can possibly be put off till next year, with them facing state and local charges in the meantime, I think that might be wiser. I assume that the way that pardons work is you can’t issue one if they haven’t been indicted yet, right?
They really think the protesters would be able to penetrate the multiple layers of security the WH has, especially now and with POTUS inside? I’m sure they have a shoot on sight policy when he’s there. Perhaps this is more about not wanting to have to do that and further fan the flames, and taking him to the bunker allows them to lower the defcon level.
