Saw clips of the protests outside and inside the restaurant. My question is, how did the WH/Secret Service vet the other patrons at the restaurant? Also, the excursion was supposed to demonstrate how safe DC streets are because of the occupation… by clearing the streets around the restaurant before he arrived? Pretty much a performance and PR fail.
