Attorney General Pam Bondi is using the killing of 37-year-old U.S. citizen Alex Pretti by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement as an opportunity to again demand access to Minnesota’s voter rolls — all part of the Justice Department’s months-long crusade to try to compel states to hand over sensitive voter information. In response to Bondi’s latest…

Frist!?

I DO have an opening message, this time. I love the idea of passing the rest of government funding while holding up DHS funding until there are some reasonable—MEANINGFUL—accountability provisions are placed on ICE, et al., as well as clawing back a good chunk of ICE’s Big Ugly Bill prefunding.

Bondi:

If you don’t do what we say, we will just keep killing the citizens of your state.

In fact, we’ll just keep killing people until you quit asking us to release the Epstein files as the US House of Representatives, the US Senate, and the president signed into law.

Because of “rule of law.”

I hate Pam Bondi’s face. Both of them.

Any offer deserves a counter offer. How about Minnesota gives Bondi what she is asking for. In exchange, and first, she releases the full and unredacted Epstein files. Makes sense. The recipients of the files can then redact to “protect the victims”.

Small correction, AG Bondi’s letter isn’t an offer. Nothing in the letter says give us what we want and we’ll give you something in return. The letter is nothing more than an extension of the fever dream word salad which has been coming from this administration for the last year.

This letter is just another demand that a State government comply with the Trump administration, like a conquered territory.

In an alternate universe, where Americans had a sense of critical thinking, we would refer to him as Vice President Tim Walz.

I have heard (2nd hand) that one of the prosecutors who resigned was also given the “offer” to retain his pension (after he resigned following the illegal demands from the JD) if he facilitated access to voter rolls. Needs validation, but interesting if true.

The regime is a criminal enterprise, in many ways run like an extortion racket.
It’s personnel need to be investigated and, where possible, charged and tried.

Over the course of a lifetime, we face only a few moments where the decisions we make and the actions we take will shape our history for years to come. This is one of them.

George Conway:

This is a criminal president and a criminal administration. They’re engaging in crimes and they’re covering up these crimes. This isn’t about immigration enforcement. This is straight-out fascism. These people are destroying the Constitution. They are using the mechanism of armed officers with masks who are beating up and killing citizens to create disruption, so they can use more force to eliminate the possibility they could be removed from office.

What does the voter roles in any state have to do with the cold blooded murder of someone?

We ARE a conquered territory. But conquered territories can fight and prevail. It’s just harder when you don’t have an army.

This entire Republican party is a criminal enterprise based on Mafia tacticsand they should be treated as such. That incudes the six coconspiritors on the SCOTUS All the way down to the last Represenataive and Senator that voted to overturn the 2020 election.
