An insurance adjuster’s #1 goal is to settle a claim – keep it out of court and don’t let it get more expensive. Detective work costs money too, often not worth it. But I’m guessing in this case it stunk so bad that they had an investigator dig a little, easily found pure unadulterated fraud, and alerted the G-man bunko squad.
ETA: What was the stinky fishy smell about this claim? Right off the top the BLM and antifa attributions are bizarre, highly improbable to any member of the reality oriented community. But this idiot has no clue about that, having heard all about BLM and antifa on fux news and read all about them on the interwebs.

This story immediately reminded me of the scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High when Sean Penn crashed the football star’s car during a joy ride, then hid his guilt by parking the wreck in front of the school after spray painting graffiti to look like it was done by a rival school. At least Spicolli got away with it.
