Minnesota Lawmakers Tackle The Ripple Effects Of The Big Lie

Mostly music. I think he was an unlikely successor to Keillor and like many successors he was met with misaligned expectations. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/25/arts/music/chris-thile-laysongs.html

I have family who moved to Southern MN from Northern CA about three years ago, they live in a small-ish town on a lake, and they’re happy and contented. Me, I couldn’t stand living in a place where the snowfall and below freezing weather keeps you indoors through most of the winter.

Amy Klobuchar is nice, however.

If you like music while you’re driving and I do, try KCSM, located in San Mateo. Jazz, contemporary, whatever genre that may be.

That she is. My representative is Ilhan Omar, who I also like very much.

What else has Chris Thile done???

To understand how great he is, all you gotta’ do is listen to him play Bach on a mandolin.

Hold onto your butt at the 11:47 minute mark!

I hate to see Omaar trashed as much as she is by the worst people in the world. She doesn’t deserve any of it. Just keep re-electing her, and maybe they’ll eventually STFU

Thanks for the explanation and the link.

The sound system in my last two vehicles have been kaput. If I get a replacement for my current piece of junk, maybe I’ll be able to listen. Thanks.

OMG. What a sublime quarter hour. It sounds like Bach wrote the piece just for him. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

One of my favorite albums is Songs of Our Fathers by Andy Statman and David Grisman. It’s definitely time to add me some Chris Thile to the collection. He has more than the skill; he has the heart.

Can’t wait to go home and listen on something other than this office laptop’s built-in speakers.

Wow. Just wow. Again, thank you.

Joel

ETA: not Bach, but it’s what I know:
