That’s what I want to know. But then, there might have been a rogue militia/unit caught speculating on making, or actually planning, an attempt on Trump’s life. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard and other armed groups don’t sing together in perfect harmony.

“TACO truck” should be slang for "The Beast” during the next 28 months.

There was never any risk. It is in the best interest of Trump handlers to keep him paranoic.

I first read about Capital One closing over 300 Trump Org. accounts in the NYT. I just googled and many (perhaps most or all) on the mainstream “corporate” media have covered it. That it did not rise to being the focus of non-stop stories is only because it got crowded out by so many other stories of the public corruption of the Trump family and the Trump administration (not to mention a war, economic woes, primary elections – it’s been an unusually busy summer for news).

The many stories of this corruption is having a cumulative affect. Polls show that it is an important reason Trump’s approval is tanking and his disapproval rising sharply.

This is what effective public relations specialist do. Drown out the bad news and elevate or manufacture good things about your client, and published in the media.

We have a fire hose of corruption coming from this badministration. No one example ever gets the notice it deserves.

ETA. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t think I’ve seen word one about Capital One in the WaPo.

Or drown out news of criminal wrongdoing with a news story that your client is merely corrupt (but that everybody is doing it - so actually it’s not so bad.)

It is a fact that as president, Donald J Trump has called those who work in the news media “the enemy of the people.”

So there’s that.
