I don’t know about the amount charged for contempt, but once a court (not controlled by Republicans) enters a judgment like this, I guess even confirmed reprobates like Vos feel the effect. (Maybe this is one way Wisconsin differs from Alabama.) I’m extremely gratified to read that liberals have filed lawsuits against these guys and their “investigation.” If there’s more than one, perhaps TPM could give us a rundown on how they’re playing out.
