Yep. Really don’t understand why that doesn’t happen more often. My Dad taught me that was the absolute correct reaction/action each and every time some jerk tried any of that creepy stuff. Although I do understand it’s hard in many of those settings where it can become mind-numbing and truly scary when the creeps outnumber you.

Every woman on this board has encountered a creepy-handsy-uncle-type, known for the patented “very low back touch and squeeze” or the even more invasive, “under-arm-thumb-breast-graze” on every female over the age of 12. Statistically, creepy uncles get jobs but they seldom rise to positions of power because they creep out even male co-workers.
This pig has managed to get his damaged (childhood sex abuse?) self into a pretty big job, but his weirdness is going to prove too much for even Republicans, because he does not have an off switch and is just as likely to feel up a colleague’s teenage daughter as he is a colleague. SAD!

I used to teach Sexual Harassment Prevention training to federal managers (almost always just men in the class). I had to emphasize the Prevention in the title as there was ALWAYS a doofus who would joke “I don’t need training on how to harass.”
IIRC there was one guy who seriously said that if a female employee wore a short skirt then it would be rude not to comment since she was obviously seeking attention. I told him that was language used by rape apologists. He was later “laterally arabesqued” out of his management position. KArma is a bitch.

Exactly, what I taught my daughter from when she was knee high. Told her not to walk down the street, for example, with her head down as every other girl but to look people in the eye as she walked. Walk tall, proud and unafraid, those that want to take advantage will look for easier targets.
