Hey Chuckie has been Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee 3 times. I’m pretty sure that financial matters is one of his everlasting Republican principles, you can’t teach an old dog a new trick and all that.
Honestly I can’t quite see how Mitch could hurt Chuck with Iowa voters. And it’s not like I like Chuck it’s just that I think Mitch does have limits on what he can threaten fellow Republicans with.

I feel about the way everyone else here does, that the American Experiment may well be coming to an end.

But you know what? We have absolutely nothing to lose. If the goods are there -whether it’s his finances, emoluments, bribery, or anything else -let’s tee it up again and make the bastards suppress evidence and shred the Constitution…again. And then let’s do it again and again.

One thing about the jackass in the Oval Office -there will be no shortage of opportunities. And if the Republicans want to do that to us later, in retaliation, fine. Because the American people can figure out the difference between for cause vs. dirty politics.

Republicans enablers of Trump are destroying not just the State, but also their Church, leaving what exactly? They should be careful.

Since the republican Senate and House are now solidly on record supporting Absolute Presidential Immunity and Unitary Executive- which stops just shy of Absolutism and Divine Rights- then how soon can we expect them to begin arguing arguing for Monarchy and hereditary political power for the wealthy?
