Screw you Meadows. How about you and Gaetz teem up to STEAL them…that’s about your speed these days.
Meadows dismissed Acting Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor’s damning public testimony in the impeachment investigation by saying that “everybody has their impression of what truth is.”
Meadows and the other Drumpfsters are black holes of inter-personal relativism: truth can not escape once it crosses their event horizons.
Of course you had to pastureize him. Kindly leave me out of this groanfest. My stomach is too dellicate.
Dunno why he’s so keen on an advance copy – he almost certainly already knows what his comments are going to be: unfair process, no convincing testimony, hearsay evidence, no impeachable offense in any case, blah, blah, blah.
Around here, Mark is what we call a “Meadow Muffin”.
Lest we forget, Meadows is one of the founders of the “Tea Party” caucus. That alone is enough reason to ignore him.
If Meadows is sounding desperate to stay in the spotlight, it may be because the GOP has waved the white flag on his carefully gerrymandered district. Having been forced to redraw for 2020, the state legislature is now submitting maps that have NC 11 basically back in the shape it was when a Democrat held it. It’s at least even odds that this is Meadows’s last term in Congress.
Meadows Wants To Review House Intel’s Report. He’s Not Even On The Committee.
Rules. How do they work?
So they put Asheville back in his district? Lovely. No wonder he’s looking for his next gig.
Yep. Asheville’s back in his district, as is the entirety of the surrounding county, Buncombe. Doesn’t make a Democratic win a sure thing, but I’d like to think it makes it harder for a Tea Party Republican like Meadows (as opposed to a less insane Republican like McHenry, in the next district over) to hold on.
