“At the very same time a global crisis was unfolding in real time, she published another ‘dear colleague’ letter saying she intends to keep our commander-in-chief in this limbo indefinitely.”

Now that’s a plan I can get behind.

Mitch has put himself beyond parody. He’s become a self-caricature; a cartoon of a man.

Psst, Mitch, your guy Donald caused the global crisis.

Moscow McConnell would be fine with a catastrophe in the ME as long as he got one more RWNJ judge.

Moscow is not particularly interested in Foreign Policy. If he were, he would have been as helpful as possible in the tense hours last night, before tensions eased slightly.

This here (“McConnell Seizes on Iran…”) is one more example of:

  • Seizing on human misery for political gain

  • Telegraphing that Pelosi is getting to him

I didn’t think it was possible to despise any human being more than I do Trump.

But I’m conflicted…

Oh, right, Pelosi’s playing politics and you are straight up following the Constitution and not being biased one little bit about the criminal you’re protecting. Get him out of here, bloody windbag.

Poll after the Soleimani killing. Time is on the Speaker’s side.

A lot easier to be a two-faced traitor to your country and constitution when you have a burning hatred for your opponents and no real heart at all. No, thank you, Jeebus.

One thing (among many) that bugs me is that the Senate apparently sets the trial rules (which is bizarre), but the House acts as Prosecutor. In the real world, a Prosecutor would never prosecute if they knew that they could not subpoena witnesses or documents.
Pelosi is just doing the most logical thing by holding the articles.

Oh, and Mitch… bite my ass.

“I would remind my friends on the the other side, I strongly suspect that not all the potential witnesses would be people the Democrats are eager to hear from,” he said.

Uh huh. Why and who Mitch? Unless Donny’s toadies plan to lie and you let them, it’s you who doesn’t want to hear them.

If you’re so mad at Pelosi for playing politics Senator, why don’t you get Merrick Garland to adjudicate the matter for you?

Not sure where to put this but Manchin is in the yes column for witnesses including Bolton.

I would be happy to hear from anyone the defense wants to call as a witness, including both Bidens and any of the Ukrainian prosecutors cooking up Rudy’s drug deal. Their “corruption” narrative is bullshit that would crumble under any competent testimonial examination.
