One thing (among many) that bugs me is that the Senate apparently sets the trial rules (which is bizarre), but the House acts as Prosecutor. In the real world, a Prosecutor would never prosecute if they knew that they could not subpoena witnesses or documents.
Pelosi is just doing the most logical thing by holding the articles.

I would be happy to hear from anyone the defense wants to call as a witness, including both Bidens and any of the Ukrainian prosecutors cooking up Rudyâs drug deal. Their âcorruptionâ narrative is bullshit that would crumble under any competent testimonial examination.
Its a pretty easy argument to make.
