Remember, kids, Mitch and Matt have a not-so-pleasant history, as Bevin had the audacity to challenge McConnell in the 2014 Republican’t Senate Primary, running to McConnell’s right, before running for and winning the election for governor in 2015. So McConnell is gleefully enjoying twisting this knife into Bevin’s back.
That said, the enemy of my enemy is also my enemy. But I will allow myself a little schadenfreude…

For the GOP to accept a loss it must be overwhelmingly certain that Bevin was beaten. The rotten, cheating, disenfranchising, lying GOP will NEVER accept a loss unless there is zero wiggle room to invent a rationale to recount the votes. McConnell is an unethical, vicious little troll and the only reason he’s telling Bevin to give it up is because Mitch the Bitch gets more satisfaction in burning Bevin than having a governor with “R” by his name.
From here on pretty much every prediction M2 makes I will assume will come out the opposite way. Ever since he predicted that Obama would only serve one term (the benchmark for whether he’d be a successful senate majority leader, thus making him a failure by his own measure), everything he predicts, turns out the other way. Well, except for judicial confirmations, but that’s something he has near-complete control over. But, trial over by end of year, not a chance. Quick trial, highly doubtful. No chance of removal, we’ll see about that. And now a Bevin win, nuh uh. Ya got nothing, McTurdle, nothing, just old man smell and desperation. You’re ugly and your mother knew it.
