I wonder if Silver takes the votes already cast into account. The Democrats are taking a lot of votes off the table. That makes the hill for Trump even harder. Also I have read Trump is out of money and is using Air Force One to gin up a lot of free media in swing states where he has gone dark.
The biggest problem we are having in Kentucky is the Party has decided that Amy canāt win so they arenāt funding her much. It is hard to do well when you arenāt on the air.

Iām confident should the Dems win the Senate theyāll stumble upon a way to maintain McConnell as the de facto leader of the body. Given the opportunity they surrender the wielding of ruthless political power to real men. Doing otherwise might get dirt under their fingernails.

Continuation of a theme I mentioned upthread.
Had a chat with an uncle and we talked about the 1950s and 1960s (me, the 60s and him the 50s).
Overcoming obstacles was the object of the exercise. I was so proud of those who risked their well-being to stand in line to vote, and I will never provide a heaping helping of pessimism as a response.
Neither King nor Lewis had a PR man who whispered in their ears that they would become āiconsā, nor did my uncle expect a damn thing for his efforts, sometimes.

If we take over the Senate, Iād like him to be shown every conceivable discourtesy, including censure for his SCOTUS antics.

Every Dem in a close (or any) Senate race should send him a thank you note. Here in Oklahoma it seems that the worst crime a person can commit is to be allied with Nancy Pelosi. I canāt imagine that anyone anywhere can look at Mitch McConnell and say āyes, that guy cares about people like meā.
