House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) rejected an idea floated by Trump to delay the November presidential election, saying Thursday that it should go forward as planned.
'Cos they are running for reelection. Ask someone who isn’t running. They will state they aren’t sure. Like Pompeo.
Trump ally Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) had said when asked about a potential delay: “I don’t think that’s a particularly good idea.”
That’s a bit wishy-washy Lindsey. Clearly you’re open to it.

Mitch and Kevin don’t want to disrupt the Russian election tampering efforts already underway. Takes months to coordinate such an effort, and a delay would make Putin cranky.
This may be what they say now, but their records show they have no problem screwing Democrats, the poor, minorities, the elderly . . . Nor is altruism a moral guidepost for either of them.
Sadly supported by some members of the military and police departments. I remember back in 2004ish reading a few articles about Neo-Nazis pushing members to join these organizations in an effort to train for an up coming race war. I believe we are seeing the fruits of those labors.

I guess Trump’ll just have to go ahead and dissolve Congress and rule directly with Barr as his enforcer - just for the duration of the ‘emergency’, of course.
That little fucker, Lindsey Graham, may not think it’s a ‘particularly good idea’ now but wait until it looks like Trump & GOP is going down in flames. Remember it was Graham who called Trump a bigot and then jumped into bed with him. Lindsey Graham has no credibility on any subject.
