True, even the slightest taint of conflict of interest should be sufficient reason to recuse as it could reflect badly on “judicial independence”. In California, at least, we have a commission to remove bad judges, although impeachment by the legislature is also a route. Some judges are just jerks, and the commission finds itself being asked repeatedly to call them out.

I emailed as well. I think it’s a bad and unnecessary decision that will negatively affect the discussions. We will lose a lot of great voices…possibly even some Prime ones.

There was no “it” to ask for. Not sure if you remember the photo but the right made a huge deal about the ‘assault’ that wasn’t. It was just Franken and buddies being dicks.
