It’s because of the goobers in the House the gov’t will run out of money at the end of September. The members are on August recess thru the first week of September. That leaves 3 weeks to get their shit together but as we know the House can’t find its ass with either hand. It takes three weeks of standing in a flaming bonfire for the House to manage to realize it’s time to actually legislate and stop genuflecting for the cameras of Fox or some other right wing media.
I have yet to find a single individual in my day to day life who gives a flying fuck into a rolling donut about Hunter Biden.
The GQP is a whataboutist clockbug.
The clockbug is an insect species whose legs have atrophied, mobility being unnecessary for its existence since it lives by consuming its own feces, merely using its antennae to rotate in a counter-clockwise fashion, continuously manifesting a circular trail of excretion and ingestion. The organism’s slow metabolic rate allows time for nutrients in its feces to be replenished by bacterial action. It eats from dawn until sunset and sleeps through the night, and since it is heliotropic – with its head always pointing towards the sun – it also functions as a timepiece.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clockbug
Actually, that’s too kind because the clockbug serves a useful function.
During the 2019 shutdown, I got a lot of deep housecleaning done. I won’t be able to do as much this time around, but I’ll find something to keep me busy.
That worked for me at a grocery store last night. To clarify: the electronic cash register shut down when I was trying to pay for my purchase (I suspect the cashier punched a wrong button), but a supervisor was able to get it started again, and after 2 or 3 minutes I was on my way.
I see no reason why Biden, in the upcoming presidential campaign, should not call attention to the likelihood that you’ll get less Medicare, or maybe none at all, under a Trump or a Trump wannabe.
The Republican House is unable to tie its shoes. Compare them to the Pelosi House. The latter succeeded at playing chess, while the former failed to read the box and so is trying to play checkers on a monopoly board.
Nancy remains my representative in the House, and I’ll be sad to see the day come when she retires. She is much beloved here. But there are hints of the people who will be running for her seat, and so far I approve.
This guy is so stupid! He has no clue how to keep his ducks in line, or how to run a congress, or how to do right by his own constituents. How can we conclude that the people who elected him are not stupider than he is?
