Found this at the dump and I had to fix a couple of issues
With a little shop-work, I souped it up and gave it dual thrush pipes with a Holly carb. I call it Darth Vader and it can beat up your rain barrel any day.
Bottom left you can see the KinkMaster 3000 hose which is soooo bad you can’t even coil it up in circles, it FOLDS instead. Over to the right you can just make out the prone figure of my earlier, weaker, home-made rainbarrel which Darth Vader promptly killed.

Seems weird that Musk wants Twitter to determine what percentage of its accounts are bots . . . because an exceptionally high number of his own “followers” are reported to be bots–far higher than the 2%-5% overall that Twitter estimates.
Of course, using Bill Cassidy’s own special math . . .

That statement is just a modern version of the orginial “Three-fifths Compromise”, isn’t it? Use the black population as a means for the South to increase its representation in the House and Electoral College but don’t give them the right to vote. Some things down South just never change, do they.
And people now wonder why so many Republicans (and Supreme Court justices - are they the dark MAGA Cawthorn is rambling about) want to go back to an original interpretation of the Constitution. You can then throw out the 14th Amendment (or at least Section 2) as it is not original. And is reversing a woman’s right to vote (19th Amendment) that far behind? Just wow. We have a political and cultural war on our hands, so buckle up and get ready for the upcoming battles. It’s sad, but I am no longer sure that the Courts will do their independent job.
“If you don’t count black people…” Just wow. Who’s next?

Child creating and bearing are some of the few things that poor and structurally disadvantaged women can do as well as wealthy, privileged women. People tend to use their superpowers if they think it will gain them a place in the world and often don’t find out until it’s too late that the “respect” only lasted about 10 minutes.

Yes it is a factory made plastic screen that is screwed down on the top. You just can’t see it. My main concern is rainbarrel mosquitos but I am very conscious of all barrels and buckets around here and store them on their side or upside down. It’s better than having stacks of upright buckets and wondering every time you sort through them how many dead mice you will encounter.
I once found a red squirrel in my shed hanging upside down and all tangled in some man-made carpet fiber (you know the kind when the edge of a carpet starts to unravel and gets snarled up in your vac’s beater brush). That was a difficult extraction, only his rear ankle was tangled up and I captured him inside a bath towel until only his foot was sticking out and I was able to cut and untangle the string and let him loose. I have no idea how long he had been in that horrific state and now I try hard to make sure I don’t leave anything like that around.
