After agitating for the chance for weeks, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) finally visited alleged Jan. 6 rioters in jail Thursday night and compared them to prisoners of war, part of a months-long campaign to valorize the attack on Congress.
âThose men in those jail [ sic ] that I met with last night are more patriotic than every single American in this entire country, because they still love in this country, while the federal government is abusing them and making them live in their own waste,â she said.
The FBI, Greene said, should go after âcriminals, not Americans.â
This is ripe for rebuttal, of course, but Iâll just focus on the last sentence: Given why these people are being held and the crimes they are accused of, Iâd say that their very presence there indeed indicates that the FBI has gone after criminals who, in terms of their loyalty to this nationâs institutions and laws, are casting doubt upon their status as Americans.
Hey, remember when somebody once said of cop killers:
âWhen you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagonâŚI said, âPlease donât be too nice.â
âWhen you guys put somebody in the car and youâre protecting their head you know, the way you put their hand over their head,â Trump continued, mimicking the motion. "Like, âDonât hit their head and theyâve just killed somebody, donât hit their head.â I said, âYou can take the hand away, OK?â
âI have to tell you, you know, the laws are so horrendously stacked against us, because for years and years, theyâve been made to protect the criminal. Totally made to protect the criminal. Not the officers. You do something wrong, youâre in more jeopardy than they are.â
I wonder if the inspection of the one facility is why Greene got to visit the other facility. I just know that some pundit will intentionally confuse the two.
And then thereâs this:
Of course they will. If no one pushes back on the comparison of the DC facility to a POW camp thatâs all you need to know.
Also consider that TFG likes heros who werenât captured. So while she sees herself liberating a camp ala âRamboâ - TFG just sees a bunch of failures who didnât give their lives for the dear leaders insurrection.
If they canât do the time, they shouldnât have committed the crime. She described this like she was an American soldier at Dachau. She is a repulsive woman.
