Keep trying, you’ll be frist one day.
No limit if the state tax return is fraudulent.
I’d always assumed the hush money payment was problematic and/or illegal because it was some sort of campaign-related bribe. Is this legal to do so long as you report it correctly on your taxes?
‘If it’s what you say I love it’
Excellent (the things Mitch can do with those chins)!
Dude!
So you would be in violation of campaign laws. Well, the FEC will have something to say about that!!!
Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen allegedly arranged to pay Daniels $130,000 to sign a non-disclosure agreement barring her from discussing the affair in the media.
As I recall, Stormy Daniels reported that some thug threatened her in a parking lot in Las Vegas. Has anyone asked Michael Cohen about that?
Obviously that would be federal. And FEC. That wasn’t what I was asking
The question that keeps going through my mind is for how long will FatAss be able to deal with being presented as a clueless mark, who was so dumb that his accountant screwed him over? (Yes, I know he can play dumb in court, we have seen clips of depositions, etc., but this is playing out on the front pages…where FatAss always wants to preen about how clever he is.)
Maybe to distract from the other criminal tax fraud case he dropped like a radioactive potatoe after he got elected to do so last year?
It was always an illegally unreported campaign contribution, which is what (among other things) Michael Cohen was convicted and imprisoned for. But Bill Barr made it functionally impossible to pursue the charge against Fat Boy after he left office by manufacturing some kind of declination memo on it.
Thanks
Hard to understand why Bragg would go down this path, only to fold like a cheap suit in 6 months.
Fuckin’ coward has to do something, right? Two of is top prosecutors walked out, if I remember correctly, when Bragg folded the last time. And AG James, she loves holding press conferences (like Rudy used to do) huffing and puffing but offering little. Where’s the beef!
Trump walks on everything, everywhere, State and Federal levels. Not saying he won’t be indicted. Not saying he won’t initially face trials. Not saying there won’t be negotiated non-prison term sanctions. But when the dust settles on all of it his suffering will be limited to legal expenses.
I would very much like to be proved wrong when I said Bragg won’t do anything substantial. Very much.
Somewhere in a jail cell, Michael Avanatti is thinking…" I coulda still been a contender!"
As much as many hate him, he got this ball rolling.
But like the man says, Tuesday’s just as bad.
Clinton (paraphrased): He didn’t pay any federal income tax.
Trump: That makes me smart!
