Gulfport issued a warrant for Dagley’s arrest on Tuesday. Police said that when they reviewed Dagley’s prior criminal history, they were alerted to a possible probation violation out of Cuyahoga County.
According to Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas records, Dagley was on probation for a prior offense and didn’t have permission to leave the state when the incident at the beach occurred. In addition to the arrest warrant issued by Gulfport police, a warrant as also been issued by authorities in Cuyahoga County for violating probation.
Dagley’s whereabouts are currently unknown. Gulfport police said they believe Dagley is no longer in the area. He may be traveling in a 2016 Ford F-150 with Ohio license plate PJR1745.

College summer of 1977 I was working in a factory that did electroplating. I used to fantasize about pushing my creepy boss into the sulfuric acid vat.

I also worked in a chrome replating facility but my fantasy was chrome plating a certain orifice.
I went with the glass pack instead.
I feel like I’m safer when this man cannot gain access to facilities that have dangerous chemicals

If he were simply a sociopath, sure, but the very nature of psychosis renders reason in general, and consequences, personal or otherwise, in particular, out of reach to the sufferer.
I’m not arguing that he should be treated with kid gloves, but rather that his mental condition should be noted, and treated, not just his criminal behavior.

Here’s more info on the incident in Cleveland. Cleveland.com is the website for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the major local paper.
Dagley and his companies were locked in a financial dispute over the property, its mortgage, and Cleveland Plating’s lease, among other things.
“He wants us to settle and we won’t pay, that’s why I think he’s done all this,” Cochran (one of the owners of Cleveland Plating) said.
Cleveland Plating’s current owners asked a judge for a temporary restraining order against Dagley earlier in 2017, saying that he entered the building April 8 and put locks on almost all the doors, court records show. The judge denied that request.
About two months later, Dagley was charged with misdemeanor assault after he returned to the property with two other people and broke into the business through a roll door, the reports and court documents say.
A security guard told police that an irate Dagley yelled at him through a crack in an office door, then slammed the door into his knee and punched him in the mouth, the report says.
It was after this incident that Daley returned to sabotage the chemical tanks. Cochran was quoted as saying “Thank god we have security guards there 24/7, Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been discovered until (the next morning), and it would’ve been late.”

I get an unhealthy vibe from a lot of people who attempt murder. Being willing to cause the death of other people for your own purposes tends to be a somewhat… unhealthy… attitude.
