Man Cited For Trespass After School Principal Confronted With Zip Ties Over Quarantine Rule

Gotta disagree. I think the superintendent was constrained on what he was permitted to say. Even so, he was implicitly stating what immature assholes these men were.

I also have to give the female principal kudos for diffusing the situation. She was calm when confronted with three angry men, and asked them to leave the school. Women usually diffuse confrontation through their words – typically because we’re smaller than men. And it is because generally women approach problems through words and not action (violence), we need more women in law enforcement and positions of power.

One thing:

Was the confrontation caught on security camera? Is that enough to put these idiots behind bars for the proverbial terroristic threats?

While some of the district schools have security cameras, they are not generally located inside of an administrator’s office. At the middle school where I taught, there some some real security cameras installed after an incident of vandalism occurred, but also some dummy cameras so students would think that more areas were being monitored.

They are proponents of the ideas the assholes speak of.

Needs to work more on resolving conflicts appropriately.

Not among those who were fighting for their civil rights. We recall, vividly…especially the hate in those women’s faces in LittleRock…the vitriol was intense…imagine “mothers” throwing rocks at children to “protect” their kids from kids that were black. They were viscious…yelling and spewing hate on those 15 year old teens.

It was horrific.

No amnesia.

Actually, security camera footage would not necessarily be needed – charges could be based on the principal’s account of what happened. Security camera footage of the incident, if it exists, would be corroborating evidence as would any bragging about their threats by any of the three angry male idiots.

That said, I don’t know what charges the evidence would support. Obviously, though, given the statements about the event by the superintendent that have appeared in the media, there should be some public shaming of these idiots. I may be in the minority, but I think the superintendent hit the right tone by not provoking these idiots or their sympathizers more than is necessary. Diffuse the situation – don’t stoke it.

During the school day, there would have been additional front office personnel who would have witnessed the men entering the principal’s office, possibly would have been able to hear any confrontational speech and would have observed their departure and overheard conversations.

Well, Texas/SCOTUS has just made “citizen’s arrest” into law…at least until the real courts get ahold of these freaks.

Yeah. When are the courts in this country going to do what the parents of these morons obviously failed to do…which is put them in time out until they grasp the concept that the world is not all about their little whims.

Just because these idiots are male does not mean that they are men. Being a man indicates some modicum of adult behavior, which is entirely lacking in these little spoiled boys. Do not complement these stupid assholes with that moniker.

A few rounds of real bullets would put a pretty quick end to these coward’s temper fits. A win-win all around. Fewer of these morons to deal with.

I thought the statement by the principal was serious shade. It’s how you treat a teen who yells “I hate you! You’re ruining my life!” when they get busted for violating curfew.

She treated them like the children they are- not as “manly men” who frighten you you with their manly threats

I just started work the other week at a very good Pima County school, one where the students overall behave well and want to learn and one where the teachers and the school administration generally see eye to eye and pull together in the same direction. What with Delta, though, and rising instances of stuff like this, a lot of the most experienced teachers have either logged a lot of extended absences or have straight-up resigned. Stuff like this, especially in the community where we all work, is only going to accelerate that, I fear. There’s no mask mandate at my school, either, and the same sorts of quarantining rules are in force, but news items like this that occurred just down the road would make me seriously consider taking my professional skills and experience elsewhere if I were at a more advanced stage of my teaching career. I fully expect more of the best teachers to nope out of this whole scene, should it continue to escalate. And I honestly have no doubt that it will escalate.

I retired from teaching at the end of 2020. That stuff was just starting to happen, with the “Purple for Parents” coming from Phoenix and disrupting a school board meeting. I spent last year monitoring kids in a digital program but am fully retired now. Thought about subbing this year at my old school, but am very happy now that I didn’t opt for that- no mask mandate and then this crap happening.

from the article:

Walker’s video of the confrontation shows how the three men went into Vargas’ office equipped with what they called “law enforcement zip ties.”

He apparently posted this to Instagram. There was a link to the video in the article, but it looks like it’s been taken down.

I think what’s going to save us is that all these drongos are So. Fucking. Stupid. that they just have to document their crimes - Confessions are us!

And yes, I agree with those posting that it’s time to start locking people up…

Imagine Don Corleone saying these words: “It’s important to model good behavior, and it makes me sad when I see something like this.” The Don was a very courteous individual.

Ask your friends in the neighborhood about him. They’ll tell you he’s a man who knows how to repay a favor.
