Making Sense Of The Trump Classified Docs Case

I remember Harvey back in the 70’s when he would do his folksy commentary at the top of hour on the noontime news. Towards the end of the Nixon era he was quite critical of him but besides that he was fairly conservative but not a flaming reactionary like a Limbaugh or many of his knockoffs.
In the late 80’s, early 90’s I had a secretary at the time who was of Caribbean background and would have Limbaugh on within earshot. He would muse about “femanazis” and engage in his usual race baiting. She would tut tut about it, shake her head in disapproval but still have him on every day because she said she saw some kind of value in listening to him.

Biden fires Architect of the Capitol over alleged abuses | AP News

An inspector general report released last year found “administrative, ethical and policy violations” by Blanton, a Trump-era appointee, including that he abused his government vehicle and misrepresented himself as a law enforcement official. A House hearing last week unearthed new questions and criticisms — including that he was not at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, when it came under attack by former President Donald Trump’s supporters.

I’d pay to see this if it were a fetus rather than a baby.

Appears to be real. There are clearer versions floating around too.

When you’re Wypipo you don’t need to know how “others” think. When you are not Wypipo your very survival depends on understanding how Wypipo think.

Funny thing, if I were either one I’d be embarrassed but I doubt either is capable of shame.

If Charlie says they are rational questions, it is a dead certainty that they are not. That lad is Osmium level dense.

The aussies have a good half-dozen permutations of “footy” none of which bear much resemblance to what the commentators refer to as “gridiron”

When is a balloon not a balloon?

  1. “did not appear to be self-maneuvering”, was flying at 40,000 feet, “most likely not a balloon”;
  2. flying at 40,000 feet, "more likely it was a balloon of some kind“;
  3. “an octagonal structure with strings hanging off”, flying at 20,000 feet, “unlikely to be a balloon"

I’m going with: they were all balloons.

Maybe people were inspired by Lawnchair Larry and Mad Mike Hughes.

“In 1982, he decided to try his flying idea. His intention was to float over the Mojave Desert and then use a pellet gun to burst some of the balloons in order to land.”

I am actually impressed by the level of stupidity on display–in fact, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that I am in awe here. I think I will need a moment to collect myself…

Eh, kinda - this was in 2019 before the orange blimp had flown south. Still blatant secret doc mishandling but pre theft and shipment to merde-a-lardass.

I’m sure the FEC will be all over the close contact between a PAC worker and a candidate :upside_down_face:
