State Dept.: Americans Should Leave Russia Now
Earlier today, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow issued a stern notice to Americans living or visiting Russia, or who are planning to travel there:
"’ U.S. citizens residing or travelling in Russia should depart immediately ,’ the U.S. embassy in Moscow said. " Exercise increased caution due to the risk of wrongful detentions .’
’ Do not travel to Russia ,’ it added.
’ Russian security services have arrested U.S. citizens on spurious charges , singled out U.S. citizens in Russia for detention and harassment, denied them fair and transparent treatment, and convicted them in secret trials or without presenting credible evidence,’ the embassy said." (our emphasis)
In addition to the Kremlin’s vicious and criminal war in Ukraine, it’s hard to fathom – with random harassment, sanctions in place and the Russian economy faltering – why any American would want to stay or go there. Perhaps pro-Putin stooges like Tucker “Tovarich” Carlson, Steve “Loose Cannon” Bannon or Rep. Marjorie “Traitor” Greene would go, but normal people no.
The arrests of Brittney Griner and Paul Whelan (who shamefully remains jailed) should have made it clear that Putin is looking for hostages to trade for his espionage agents, arms dealers and others. This notice is welcome but months too late.

By partially filled, it means that the circle by one of the candidates’ names was filled in. Naturally, the candidate who appeared to be marked is a Republican. That’s a pretty glaring screw up for it to be just “human error.”

Was it a penalty? Yes. Is it called all the time? No. With that said, I do not think the officiating in this game skewed too far to one side or the other. However, I think week to week in most games I watch over the past several years that officiating overall is awful regardless of my rooting interest with at least one egregious call in each.
I only root for two teams. The Giants and whomever is playing the Cowboys. Though I did think it was poor form to boo Dak Prescott upon being named the Walter Payton Man of the Year. That is earned off the field, and everyone named as a finalist has done great things for their community.

Yeah, sounds like a lot of latex or other material floating around that can’t possibly be accounted for or steered around. I am sure even the smallest of these things don’t do a jet engine any good or would be a bad thing to have wrapped all around your plane’s wing.
And they all have to land or fall to earth at some point and aren’t biodegradable.
Otherwise, sounds like lots of useful and fun stuff to do…unless it is being used for nefarious purposes. I would think the Chinese would not want to be responsible for bringing down a passenger plane but maybe they think it is acceptable risk.
