He was already a killer of innocents well before this…just burnishing his reputation at this point.
That is the post script…no funeral,no wake,no mass…no family get togethers…thanks for your kind thoughts…
Condolences zlohcuc.
My father was briefly in a rehab facility in early Feb but came back to living with my brother and his wife in short order. At the time I thought about making the point that he might be safer in the rehab facility, but bit my tongue … glad I did, was I ever wrong on that one.
There will be a need for a 9/11 style commission just for the outbreaks that have occurred in nursing homes and rehab facilities.
This is similar to what happened to my 84 y.o. Father in law last week. I have not shared this with anyone here, but he died in his sleep at the nursing home, according to the staff. There was no mention of him being sick before he died. His wife (my wife’s mother) was in closer contact with the home than we. We found out later that there were two known cases of covid there. We find it highly unlikely that he just died of “natural causes”, but there will be no testing or autopsy under the circumstances. We are not blaming the staff even if he did catch the virus. I can’t make the case that this was preventable at this point. Frail elderly people can catch this and die from it so quickly. That was in Lexington, MA.
Here in Maine, there are 4 long term care facilities with outbreaks. Nearly all of the cases in one county are at one rehab hospital. That’s like 50 cases there.
I’m sorry about your Dad.
Isn’t that the Belarussian approach to almost any situation?
Until the 1950s Russian medicine was vodka, garlic, and saunas.
Suppression will be rampant in the Red States.
Works for me. Take their lies and sicken them with them.
I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your Father. I wish you and your family peace.
My condolences to you on the death of your Father-in-Law . Peace to you, your wife, and family.
Without testing, anybody can claim anything. However, if the infection rate is this high and immunity for some time obtains, it could be really good news going into a second wave.
Absolutely. More widespread immunity and a lower death rate than we thought. It would have the effect of social distancing on a second wave.
Even states that only have limited test supplies should be using some of them for random population sampling and testing. That greatly leverages the information a relative few kits can provide. It’s arguably the best use of limited resources. OF course, the fact that these resources are limited here in the U.S.(A.) is totally LUDICROUS!!
As the theological experts they claim to be, one would think Falwell et al would recognize the Antichrist when he finally came. Psst, Evangelical Pastors, he’s right there in front of you!
They recognized him, all right, and got in line to sign up with the program. Christ resisted this temptation; his most rackety ostensible living followers couldn’t succumb fast enough.
Thanks for sharing…we are going to see much more of this …the botched response by the Don is front and center…the lack of mass testing is inexcusable…still no coordinated national plan…sorry for your loss.Almost as bad as the loss of life is our inability to participate in any of the customary post mortem activities that aid people in the grieving process.
