Totally agree. What I noted in this blather is the use of “open” rather than “empty” to describe shelves bereft of merchandise. Who the hell says that? However much we carry on about the s.o.b., I submit that his lizard brain told him not to use empty

If I may suggest another possibility, that he tried but couldn’t think of “empty.” The word wouldn’t come to him as he was speaking so he went with a synonym. Despite not being an expert, I’m calling it “cognitive decline.”

I would posit that trump has never shopped for his own groceries. Some poor hired person does that for him. Been that way his entire life.

True. It is one of the frustrations I have. The language is directed towards a place where the urgency is just flat not there. Such as Schumer. But the press is equally passive in their reporting for the same reasons.

The other lack is straight dialogue on what the consequences will be for the average American. They see people hauled off in the context of immigration, but there is little discussion that if this can happen for one reason, it can happen for any reason. No American is safe from this lawlessness. They just are not in the pickle barrel today.

I’m a big sports fan, and I don’t get Stephen A Smith, at all. My god, the man is a screaming banshee, full time. I can take him for about 30 seconds, then I’m done. And this flirting with a Presidential run is just so much BS.

That is probably still the demand from China, and we can ignore any messaging from either side about talks underway. Mad King Donnie has insisted on being the only negotiator, directly with Xi, and Xi isn’t calling on the phone. Trump will have to cave first.

This only proves poor little Zuck didn’t have a lot of friends of his own growing up, was always a lonely sort and is still scarred by that experience to this day. Now he’s trying to overcompensate for all that by pretending its everyone’s hangup that he can surely find a way to monetize. Real internet dating sites weren’t enough. Now he has to invent phony relationships and fake personas to comfort the afflicted. Its closer to Lars And The Real Girl than anything I’ve seen yet. His solution, if I’m reading this right, is as artificial and as superficial as he is.
