In fewer words, media whore.
Benedict? Pope Benedict?
I thought it was Pope Bentdick? I thought the X just represented his MPAA rating. Damn. I learn something new every day.
I thought TSF wanted to get rid of regulations. Then we can get that lead paint doll that is made in the USA.
Nobody tell him the same administration is trying to roll back all those safety regulations to keep your kid from getting cancer.
Miller is “pro-regulation”? I thought regulations were killing the American economy?
I am so confused.
Rats leaving the stinking ship.
“ Other national security changes coming, as Susie Wiles & others have told @SecDef he needs to bring in a team of serious people to help stabilize the Pentagon pronto…”
Bring in “serious people”? Where will they get those?
And once they get cancer we’ve canceled research for treatment.
I really like that one.
I really hope that I remember it, so I can use it when appropriate.
Aside from the fact that, probably, very few dolls are manufactured in the U.S. (Barbie dolls, btw, are made in China), what’s this about America’s “highly environmental and regulatory standard[s]”? You mean the standards the Trump administration is determined to weaken or remove?
As you’ve said, everything they say is a lie.
Morning Memo firehose sure is gloomy today
“We seem to be facing the destruction of the United States. I don’t see anyone articulating that this is an attack on what it means to be American, on the very idea of America, and it’s an emergency.”
Maybe if he climbed down out of his darned ivory tower, he’d “see” lots and lots of op eds making exactly this point, and in fact, have been making this point for months already. Is the “academic left” so disconnected from reality that they are unaware of how much dissent there has been in the media??
OK, I can’t believe I’m saying this. Ann Coulter is right.
Pre-tariff.
I’d have been frist if I hadn’t stopped to actually read the MM.
Local news: City is picking up the funding for five Americorps volunteers who were left high and dry. I kind of doubt there will be more after July; it’s one thing to honor existing contracts, and another to take on more.
County commissioners thwarted (so far) in their attempt to charge anti-Trump protesters for police protection, but a large amount of performative bullshit about vandalism, since last time some protesters wrote with chalk on the back of a memorial on the courthouse lawn.
And our former five-term Dem mayor, who had been on the school board, was sentenced last week for a Level 6 felony and some misdemeanors. He had accepted contributions for an anti-Purple Parents flyer without proper disclosure. Bad mistake, especially from am experienced pol, but he and the others had acknowledged their wrongdoing and been fined by the elections board when it first came out, and that was the end of it, until the Rep prosecutor decided their was political hay to be made. After years of public service it’s destroying him. He was hospitalized for depression, and has now been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
For background, small purple dot in IN-2.
And though there are endless fools in this castle, there’s no Fool either. And Don John sure as hell needs one of those –
'If thou wert my fool, nuncle, I’ld have thee beaten for being old before thy time. Thou shouldst not have been old till thou hadst been wise."
