But, you know, Mr. and Mrs. America who live on streets all over this country in middle class neighborhoods and neighborhoods that aspire to be middle class. That’s who his people are.
But not the ones who are living on the streets because they can’t afford housing. They’re just SOL.
Shorter Dobbs: Mr. President, Sir, you’ve got to get back to having rallies where everyone gets to shout your favorite slogans and hiss and boo at their enemies – the press, Obama, Clinton, and anyone who pissed you off this morning – so they will stop worrying that you’re doing something stupid.
I love the fiction that Trump is just a regular guy, rather than an incompetent clown who inherited obscene amounts of money and an enabling organization (starting with Roy Cohn), and who failed repeatedly to create his own businesses, losing much of his wealth in the process. He only ran for president to get some of it back.
Back when Obama was president Dobbs and some of his awful ilk in the business press would complain that he didn’t have enough CEO’s at the White House.
And his feigning concern for the middle class rings hollow.
As usual it’s opposite land with these folks.
You mean the middle class people that voted for Clinton. She did win the popular vote and without Russia’s and the FBI’s help. The people tRump should be able to connect with are the ones he made richer with his tax cut but apparently the only reason they hold their noses and tolerate him is because he makes them richer. But still, he can’t connect with them because they think he’s a moron.
