Los Angeles Guard Deployment Raises Specter Of Kent State

The difference is that a lot of ignorance and flat out misjudgment permeated the Kent Stare tragedy …
This situation is awash in malicious intent and knowledge of what can go wrong … and intentional cultivation of disaster.

They could not create a situation more ripe for a slaughter if they tried - this is not a random “accident”
TRUMP wants a “Gulf of Tonkin” to justify draconian martial law actions & property confiscation.

Miller wants this. I’m not so sure about TCF. TCF is interested in grifting, getting headlines, and golfing. Martial law would require real work.

This may come across as naive, but it’s scarier to think the only reason there aren’t already Marines posted to every federal building is that TCF is too lazy to be a proper dictator.

I had trouble editing a post a few minutes back. I got an error each time I submitted the edit. I deleted it because I thought the mods already deleted it and my browser hadn’t updated.

I was in Vietnam when Kent State happened.
What I believe Trump is trying to have this happen again so he can mow down protesters to prove they are trying to take down his Kingdom.
There are still enough Nixon belivers left to think Kent State was righteous.

FYI, I’ve had this a number of times and each time all I had to do was reload the page and it then let me finish the post.

I don’t know any who don’t believe that at best it was a cocked up mess and at worse intentional incompetence.

Or nearer by? Like Utah or Idaho? Don’t forget, it isn’t only the secessionist states that are maga-supporters.

[I]n recent days, in a series of increasingly belligerent and menacing interviews, he’s appeared in either faux military uniforms or, in most cases, civilian garb clearly meant to appear like military-style fatigues along with a ever-changing run of camo or olive drab baseball caps.

During the Hurricane Katrina disaster when Bush Jr. and “heckuvajob” Brownie finally realized they were in over their heads, LT General Russel Honoré swooped in and save their worthless assteroids. I remember seeing a clip showing him in New Orleans issuing orders:

Honoré was seen on the streets of New Orleans, barking orders to subordinates and, in one case, berating local police officers who were displaying their weapons as they rode past him. “Weapons down! Weapons down, damn it!” Honoré shouted.

This is how it is done.

i was a parent during that time…otherwise i would have been there with the kids. KENT STATE is maybe why the military was treated with such disdain and disrespect when they returned from VIET NAM…most people didn’t realize that the men who were sent to VIETNAM were drafted, they did not enlist…the men protestors should have harrassed are the ones like TRUMPF…whose father used wealth to get tge deferrments. it is interesting the Trumpf apppeared to have rejected his fathers BC from the German Statesman , at the meeting in the garish OVAL office…

and was whiskey pete there with him!

…or … throw him …

  • a toaster
  • a 200 lb shark
  • a 20 lb paper bag full of potassium
    or
  • his father… thrashing about
