If Donald Trump breaks with this precedent, and if another Democratic President takes office, he should simply break with this “norm” as well.
Obviously tragic we would be here. However, it is the only way to break up Republicans obviously trying to weaponize the DOJ & FBI.
The big concern will be recruiting, because decent people will be hard pressed to serve in this kind of environment regardless of party.
