Loeffler Plans To Object To Biden’s Electoral Victory Day After GA Runoff | Talking Points Memo

Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) on Monday announced her plan to object to the Electoral College certification process this week that will ratify President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. The joint session of Congress is scheduled a day after the Georgia runoff elections on Tuesday that will determine the balance of the Senate.

Can she do that from the visitors gallery?

Ahh, the Constitution’s famous “do-over whenever you don’t like the result” amendment! She did couch this nonsense in constitution-y language, though – that will be enough for the die-hards. At least those who think reciting the constitution backwards makes them a sovereign citizen not subject to other people’s laws.

Seems that only Perdue’s term expired on January 3rd. Loeffler’s term appears to expire when the results of tomorrow’s election is certified and R.W. is the winner

This is meaningless. Some intrepid reporter needs to ask her if she will vote yes on the objection and ALSO vote no on certifying the EC count after the objection phase. Will she vote yes, no, or abstain on that final vote?

Because that’s where you either vote what your mouth is saying, or take the coward’s way out with an abstention on the vote like she and Perdue did on the Defense appropriation bill a few days ago. Way too much media attention is being focused on the objection phase, without asking how these clowns signing onto the objection will commit to voting on the final EC count.

Will a D Senator, or perhaps Romney or Sasse, point out that the putative concern of Loeffler and company for election fraud is in fact an attempt to aid and abet massive and brazen election fraud?

Now that sounds like the plan of a l-o-s-e-r.

Here’s hoping Georgia voters object to her the day of the runoff.

Speaking of kabuki, Ted Cruz ran away from reporters today (or yesterday) in GA after being asked if he’d accept the Senate election results. So we have that to look forward to …

Thanks for clearing that up, because I was also confused why the heck she was still there.

The results, and the election that produced them, will be unimpeachable unless RW and/or JO win.
Then, as this is, in and of itself, highly irregular, it will be necessary to investigate and, wherever possible, discard the illegitimate ballots that made this illegitimate victory possible.

And may she choke on her own words in the process.

Governor Kemp appointed this woman senator instead of Trump favorite Rep. Doug Collins, because he believed that a female would help win back the suburban women nauseated by Donald Trump. And what she does? She goes full Trumpturd, complete with QAnon and photos with skinheads. Kelly Loeffler’s “business and leadership” talents were only visible after she started sleeping with the boss, Kemp should have know that.

That doesn’t look like all that many people… Northwest Georgia is nothing but unreformed confederates and KuKluxKlaners, and Trump can’t get a crowd?
