100% true…but the sad part is, what they’re doing is working, the rest of the MSM is helping them and by 2023 nobody will be standing on high ground, but rather knee-deep in bullshit the GQP Trump KKKult has generated…while they enjoy what they will no doubt be calling a “landslide” and “bloodbath” takeover of Congress despite getting the minority of votes.
If you want to know where the USA is going to be in 50 years, just look at the fruits of tribalism in Afghanistan.

He just said (paraphrasing) it wouldn’t be a large military operation. Which means an “over the horizon” strike, a drone or cruise missile. No need for boots on the ground if they can ID the people who ordered the attack and know where they are.

Oh, there probably will be boots on the ground. SF goes into a lot more places around the globe than hits the headlines. Drone strikes are certainly one piece, but there are also critical intel pieces that we can pick up that just don’t exist anymore if the place is a hole in the ground.

Why send in Special Forces if ISIS-K leadership can be taken out with a cruise missile or drone? Those SF guys have to come in and then be extracted by helicopter. How far is the nearest airfield going to be now, and why risk losing those soldiers?

For the same reason that we sent in a team to get bin laden when a missile would have done the job.
All those computers, USB sticks, etc. The stuff that we can sift through to find out operational plans, other members we may not yet have on our radar, stuff like that.
