That is what Miss Lindsay has been reminding the good ole boys.
Lindsay (typo but it stays) is still pissed that Obama didn’t bust up the chifferobe.
Just a coincidence that Graham’s pool boy had the same name as the Judge? And that the dotard was given the compromising photos of him and Lyndsey working out by the pool?
Since the obvious implication of Lidsey G’s comment is that more than 90% of black people in S. Carolina are incapable of succeeding, I’ll just go ahead and call him a despicable racist. He told us what he is. We should believe him.
I hope he is crushed in the election. He is such a toadie. A hypocritical fraud. He ‘spun’ history and sanctimoniously opined that he wants comity like how things USED to be…all the while not acknowledging the crap his party has pulled in the last 4 years…and the 8 years before that.
This.
This is approaching urban myth status. Appeals to “hidden support” have nor borne out in real time: not only did It lose the popular vote by 3 million, but this alleged hidden support did not seem to help It or Its party in 2018 at the federal or state level. This hidden support has never edged It beyond a 45 percent approval rating in three years, or at least, never to 50 percent depending on what polling one has ever looked at. The hidden support has never made It popular, never increased Senate seats appreciably, certainly not in the House.
Scumbag’s supporters are not gun shy, literally. They cannot be shamed or made self conscious. They are locked into Slim Pickins end-of-Dr.-Strangelove mode. What should worry people is if there is a repeat of the pathetic 47 percent figure of people who did not vote in 2016. Those people are worse than any alleged hidden support.
I also have two word for Lindsey, but they differ from yours.
My concern, too. For 30 years I’ve lived in a relatively small (10k pop), rural CT town that’s consistently been about 45% Dem/55% GOP. And now, maybe two or three Trump signs, and many, many Biden/Harris signs. Although CT in total is reliably blue, this town is usually reliably red, and I have doubts the signs tell the story.
The only humiliation he gets is paid for in advance in full
Absolutely right
There are five Trump 2020 signs in a one block stretch in my neighborhood. The cognitive dissonance mind bender of them all is the house that has a “Love Everybody” sign literally abutting the Trump sign.
Unfortunately a 45% level of support places a Presidential candidate firmly in range of an Electoral College victory.
Especially if the GOPers controlling state legislatures elect their own slate of electors in spite of losing the popular vote in the state. Shocking that they can legally do this.
Depends how you define “everybody,” really.
Various Trump packed courts can be depended upon to stop the counting of votes in several states, making many mailed ballots moot if they’re received after election day but postmarked before that. Hundreds of thousands of others will be invalidated for the slightest mistake or an undotted “i” or uncrossed “t”. Vigilantes and militias will intimidate many from going to the polls, or turning away if they do make the trip, at the sight of AK-47 wielding masked thugs exactly 5 feet outside whatever safe zone local laws mandate. Dems need to turn out voters at about a 5 to 4 edge over GOPers, just to make up for various lost votes through all the GOP subterfuge, or Biden will lose
I’m just wondering how much impetus of holding a nomination hearing for a Supreme Court seat is driving Lindsey? Grassley got 2 judges through, but Lindsey seems to need this.
Yup. Lots of shit going to go down this year that will make Bush vs. Gore look like fun and games. Article up at MSN detailing how the California GOP is setting up fake ballot drop boxes with the official state notice pasted on the front. Real election fraud happening in Fresno County and they didn’t figure out that dirty trick in a vacuum. And even the normally liberal leaning 9th Circuit has been packed with GOP leaning judges who will of course decide in favor of them as was intended when they were appointed to that court.
Two agenda items speculated as most at risk with her on SCOTUS are reproductive rights and the ACA. Public polls, even in the South, indicate the former ranks very low on voter’s minds, and the latter very high, with both supported by a majority desiring the status quo at minimum be maintained. I’m not sure her confirmation is a net plus for the GOP as to the election.
Stop focusing on Aunt Pityfuck’s best qualities.
