If a militant band of flamenco dancers decided to serial kick-stop and castanet Lindsey’s kiwis for several hours (or days) I wouldn’t attempt to dissuade them.
Fat Donnie is holding photos of Lindsey with farm animals, and I am not talking about a sheepdog or a barn cat.
Quickly, barring something, Graham will still be on Judiciary with Grassley.
Is he saying that the Committee should subpoena witnesses?
“After years of being investigated by the Department of Justice, no charges were brought against Matt Gaetz. This is something we should all remember,” Graham said. “I would also urge my colleagues to go back to a time-tested process, receive relevant information, and give the nominee a chance to make their case as to why they should be confirmed. This standard — which I have long adhered to — has served the Senate and country well.”
Nah, he’s saying they should ignore - oh, what’s that called - direct evidence.
Schumer hasn’t given folks their new Committee assignments, but I’m hoping that Schiff’s on Judiciary.
Kiwis, or kiwi seeds?
I would provide them with energy drinks and back-up dancers.
He is, in fact, an expert on the topic.
I’ve already stockpiled extra popcorn.
But you see Lindsey hasn’t seen the evidence, ergo the evidence isn’t real.
the allegations against Gaetz are unproven
Senator, why don’t you find out?
Oh, I know. The Senator is worried Gaetz would lie and that would threaten the Senator. Better to give him the job and hold the allegations for another time.
“Why, I had no idea!”
“The um ball waiting game around the report is largely giving Senate Republicans something to hide behind as they wrestle with their own consciences”
Consciousness. WTF. Does anyone actually feel any one of these scumballs has any conscience when fat fuck threatens to put his enhanced heal on their political throat?
Whatta bunch of weenies.
But maybe those too. All the photos aren’t all hat clear, but it sure looks like…
And accusations made by men – Joel Greenberg and, more importantly, by Republican members of the House, with whom Gaetz shared pictures of women he’d slept with and bragged about drug-fueled sex parties.
I always felt that an indictment for “sex trafficking,” when the 17 year old involved made a web profile to traffic herself, would never ever get a unanimous jury vote to convict. So justice did the right thing. But have we gotten to the point where everything not convictable in a court of law is now totally OK? Have Republicans totally lost their “ewwww, that’s disgusting” reflex? Have Democrats totally lost their ability to message that Republicans are “ewwwww, disgusting”? Apparently so.
And Gaetz and Republicans would be asking the FBI to release the results of their investigation, at least to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Witness names and the like could be redacted.
Maybe. The lawyer for the two women who were 17 and 18 when, they testified under oath to the Ethics Committee, was on Lawrence O’Donnell last night (the night before last?) and pointed out that Cornyn (I think it was) had suggested that the Senate Judiciary Committee could invite (did he say subpoena?) these women to testify. Their lawyer pointed out that the Ethics Committee conducted a thorough investigation, over many months, involving other witnesses and many documents. Aside from the fact that his clients did not want the publicity, the Senate Jud. Comm. couldn’t possibly duplicate that investigation getting testimony from just his clients over a few days.
Though I did, either release the report or ante up witnesses.
I don’t want to echo horseshoe’s left side, but unless Gaetz 's going to be confirmed, because Trump, the above applies.
