I have this nagging feeling that Joe Biden’s warnings about threats to American democracy and institutions will be met with the same degree of enthusiasm by the political press as Hillary Clinton’s. It will create lots of controversy, column inches and panel discussions, but you can’t fix smug.

So, I haven’t heard anyone asking an obvious question:
Did TFG make copies of all the secret documents?
He had 18 months to do it.
How could we even find out?
Is that part of what’s been redacted in the affidavit?
Is that part of the obstruction charges they’ll bring?
Another question:
After all his defenses have failed.
After he’s indicted.
After Graham’s fever-dream of “riots in the streets” goes poof
And since TFG got his passports back from the FBI…
What are the odds he will flee prosecution?
He’s already made some great friends in non-extradition Saudi Arabia.
Remember, he wouldn’t be fleeing only the DOJ charges. He would be fleeing all the other investigations as well.

I’m astonished Ali Alexander can get anyone, literally anyone, to listen to him. Anybody with eyes in their head can tell at a glance he’s a sleazy little hustler. And that’s why Biden needs to keep talking about it, though I’d like to see those numbers broken down by party. Lots of rethugs are concerned, too, but not for the reason; they think the election was rigged.

When I saw this last night I had two thoughts. First, how come I could never file more than 20 pages. The fact is I was taught to keep my pleadings as short as possible to keep the judges attention. Second, Trump really screwed up by giving the prosecution team a chance to really go off by filing his essentially pro se out of time pointless motion.
Then I realized that most of the good stuff will be filed under seal. We are going to have to wait for the indictment to get access to the good stuff. Damn.
Just indict the SOB already. We have all the evidence we need to know that he is guilty as sin.
