Lee Tries To Clean Up ‘Worst Briefing’ Comment | Talking Points Memo

I believe Sen. Lee is going to need a real good personal injury lawyer for that horrific case of whiplash he just got.

I’ve never known of a spine dissolving in under 24 hours. Lee belongs in the Guiness Book of Records.

@brian512 You, out of my head!

Mais oui, because Fox News, Fox viewers, and especially Fox politicians couldn’t understand the Arab Spring. Even then they were telegraphing that they would be fine with an authoritarian leader, but HELL TO NO!!! that a Black man ever became POTUS.

So what dastardly thing did Lee do and did Mitch remind him he still has the photos?

Lee is a stinking liar. It’s Trump-fear that gives him the flop sweat and makes him give false-witness.

That might have something to do with this being a vote in the House and Lee being a Senator…

Thanks. Deleted.

The idea behind ‘Benghazi’ was to get a Romney win.

When that flunked and though Trump was a beneficiary, the next move was to ‘bin’ HRC.

Sorry Mike, you said they left after 75 min. The briefers treated you as unimportant impotent fools -don’t debate anything or we look weak - run along now boys and girls -Marco Rubio must have been in a different room/briefing. etc etc. You went on for 5+ minutes last night and doubled down on it this morning on NPR. Nope, nope, nope.

Lee’s mea culpa is hardly necessary to any present day, unduly proud, GOP cult member who knows to an almost scientific certainty that everything bad that has ever happened in this country historically dates back to the Obama presidency… before that it was all endless sunshine, where everybody knew their place, and white people in general were almost as happy then as they are now that Trump is has given them back their country.

Merry Christmas!

". . . I’m willing to concede that they might well have been legally, morally, justifiable and fully constitutional.”

Except for the legal part because it was a violation of the War Powers Act, the moral part because it was a violation of one of those Commandment things, or the Constitutional part because an unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation is an act of war that was not authorized by Congress.

I might give him a pass on the justifiable claim, but only if you fully subscribe to the ends justify the means doctrine.

aaaaand here we go with another spineless coward Republican walking back his weak objections to the traitorous bastard in the WH.

Short version: Trump has my nuts in his collection.

He finally joined the rest of the kool kidz. You know the ones that are basically traitors to all that our country stands for.

Yeah when he got out of the briefing he really seemed to be hot under the collar, Rand Paul not so much, but then Rand usually has an bee in bonnet that’s not Republican approved.
