I’ve always heard fate or destiny. So the question comes down to: is destiny stronger than karma or is karma a part of destiny? One of those free will vs predestination things that keeps me up at night.

I wonder if he has taken the money and bailed. There is not much more than rumors about his health at this point. He has probably protected himself from pissing off the judge because no information has come directly from him. If I was Marshall, I would seriously consider making myself scarce also, maybe go to Lindell’s safe house.
