Lauren Boebert Unexpectedly In The Fight Of Her Life For Reelection

Rep. Lauren Boebert’s (R) reelection has gone from foregone conclusion to the fight of her life in Colorado’s third district.

Thanks for highlighting this race, and for the excellent summary of Boebert’s awfulness. We are cautiously over the moon here in CO-03!

Not sure what sources Josh has and why they think Boebert will still win. There’s not that many votes left to count in CD-3…and what remains looks fairly evenly split.

I figure that if it’s fairly close, the gops will whine like little bitches unless someone gives it to them, vote count be damned.

Come to think of it, I doubt it has to be close before they start whining. C.f.Kari Lake.

Update 11:30 PST. 82% of the vote in and Frish is still winning! Don’t know this district well enough to parse margins vs precincts remaining, but boy! I hope it holds

Geez but I hope this vile individual goes down.

I have a feeling Grand Junction and Delta will help Boebert pull off a victory, but it’s a hell of a lot closer than I would’ve ever expected. This is a good sign for 2024.

Sorta OT, but as a west coaster who is retired and likes to sleep in, i usually get to a thread when it has hundreds of posts.

Congratulations to Arizona for the big wins! When the votes were counted, the gun toting militia types seem to be in the minority.

You’re thinking Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Fettermsn is going to win. Beto will lose. Warnock and the make-believe “sheriff” are way too close to call. Keri Lake lost and immediately began whining about rigged elections because if she were in charge…

Nope. At the time of writing, Empty Greene was already the projected winner in her race.

Boebert, on the other hand, can (and hopefully will) still lose.

But, yes, they are both vile.

I hope that Lauren gets more time to admire the pedophile’s dick tattoo and playing with her guns and boy toys in the bowling alley.

We will see if the good people of Fruita just outside Grand Junction have decided Boebert is full of prunes.

I wish her well in her future endeavor starring in stepmom porn.

Lots of cheering going on last night here in Durango, CO as we Dems watched the election returns. Adam Frisch was here a week ago as was Bennett and many of the state-wide Dems candidates. We will be glad to rid CD-3 of our toxic waste.

I checked this morning, and my Republican Rep Yvette Herrell was losing in the NM 2nd Congressional District to Gabe Vasquez by 1,015 votes. According to the Las Cruces Sun News the lines were still long at the voting center at the Dona Ana County building last night, and the polling authorities decided to keep the polls open past the closing hour. Herrell lost the election in 2018 because Dona Ana County forgot to count the absentee ballots that year and the Democrat reminded them that there were absentee ballots to count, since there was an unusual number of voters voting that way. I am sure Herrell will take this election to court because the district was redrawn, and the Republicans lost much of the conservative base from the eastern side of the state that it once had to the other two districts.

Here are the results as of 5:12AM MST with 98% of the vote counted.

Gabriel Vasquez (D) 96,253 or 50.3%
Yvette Herrell ® 95,238 or 49.7%
