KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — The Kabul police say there has been a large explosion on a main road near the U.S. Embassy in the Afghan capital.Deputy police chief Dawood Amin says the explosion took place on Tuesday a few hundred meters (yards) from the embassy gates in a central part of Kabul.
