And that’s only one of the reasons she chose a new lawyer.
I’m betting she wants Sinema’s senate seat in 2024.
I’m sure Orly Taitz is available!
Musk to leave as Twitter head as soon as he finds someone equally obnoxious as he is.
Even worse, she wants competent attorneys to risk their professional reputations for her. For free.

The House Ways and Means Committee voted Tuesday to publicly release Mr. Trump’s tax returns, the culmination of a yearslong battle during which he defied modern tradition by keeping his finances confidential during his campaign and while in office.
-
After the vote, House Democrats revealed that the materials they obtained showed that the I.R.S. had not audited Mr. Trump during his first two years in office. The agency began an audit only after the chairman of the committee, Representative Richard E. Neal, Democrat of Massachusetts, requested Mr. Trump’s taxes in 2019. That audit is not complete.
-
After debating behind closed doors for about four hours and 20 minutes on Tuesday, the Democrat-controlled committee approved the release of six years’ worth of Mr. Trump’s tax returns along party lines, 24 to 16. But it could take some time before anything is available to the public. Representative Lloyd Doggett, a Democrat on the committee, told CNN that release of the full cache of tax documents could be delayed for “a few days” to carry out redactions of personal information, such as Social Security numbers.
-
Mr. Neal said the decision to release the information “was not about being punitive. This was not about being malicious.” He also praised the panel’s members because there were no leaks of sensitive information.
-
The ranking member, Representative Kevin Brady, Republican of Texas, condemned the decision after the vote. “So regrettably, the deed is done,” he said. “What was clear today is that public disclosure of President Trump’s private tax returns has nothing to do with the stated purpose of reviewing the I.R.S. presidential audit process.”
-
While the public release of the documents will provide the most up-to-date information about Mr. Trump’s finances, much is already known. The New York Times in 2020 released findings of an investigation into Mr. Trump’s tax-return data covering more than two decades. He paid no federal income taxes in 11 of 18 years that The Times examined; he also reduced his tax bill with questionable measures, including a $72.9 million tax refund that, as of 2020, was the subject of an I.R.S. audit.
@occamscoin Because I know everything.
I’m shocked that Jonathan Turley hasn’t volunteered!
Kari Lake always looks like she smells an unpleasant odor. I postulate it’s the sulfurous fumes emanating from her shriveled soul.
One would think that would be a prime clue that she hasn’t much of a reasonable case, or at least one losing one’s license over.
During the weeks leading up to the Election, Lake had my attention. She is not interested in governing…she is interested in ruling.
…and having Middle School fun doing it…

I’m shocked that Jonathan Turley hasn’t volunteered!
Turley makes himself scarce around Thanksgiving and Christmas…too many semi-literates in this country…

I’m shocked that Jonathan Turley hasn’t volunteered!
The name doesn’t register with me.

Jenna Ellis is looking for work. She was Doug Mastriano’s attorney and campaign adviser here in PA, until he was trounced by Josh Shapiro for governor.
And I bet Kari won’t even offer you a finder’s fee.
We’ll leave the light on for ya… be careful out there!

But she’ll need to prove that those issues had a preponderant effect on her and were not evenly divided between her and Hobbs.
And they were intended to have a preponderant effect on her.
Kari Lake, like a lot of media spawned creatures, including Trump, is discovering that in the end, “truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment.” Proverbs 12:19.

She’s probably hoping to ride her wave of stupid right wing extremism into an anchor position at the usual suspect stations
Not enough Vaseline in Phoenix to make that work…
Hoagie, I think I get where you’re coming from. I commented here recently, expressing my dismay at the 4" stilettos and (even among the women at MSNBC) the false eyelashes many women in public roles seem compelled to wear. It’s not that I object to women and men projecting an image through makeup and clothing (a complicated subject!). I’m just tired of the photoshopped, Barbie look, especially prominent among the Mar-a-Lago crowd. (I wish I could remember where I saw a photo of several people who attended Trump’s recent announcement that he’s a candidate. Two bleached-blonde women with harsh but “young” faces. One had very large breasts for her small body; the other had her thin arm raised, and you could see the crinkled flesh hanging from her underarm. One of the men had an oddly bloated face – Botox? You just wish these people could find some purpose in their lives, a purpose that wasn’t all about them.)
Promise him that a TV camera will be present and he’s in.
I’m sure the staff is happy racking up the overtime, knowing that they are sticking it to TFG (I know I would).
