Kinzinger Says GOPers Who Join Nativist Caucus Should Be Stripped Of Committees | Talking Points Memo

I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict that he may have no future in the GOP.

You see that MTG and Gosar needed to whittle down European to a sub group that doesn’t include eastern Europeans, and those that are around the Mediterranean Sea. Because those Greek and Phoenician lines are too, how can I say this, dark.

Who wrote the “America First Caucus Policy Platform”? We can rule out Greene or Gohmert.

McCarthy is going to get primaried. Just wait. He’s not with the program, and the dark money will go another direction.

McCarthy will soon be working on the sequel to Boehner’s book.

This is not surprising at all, but quite discouraging.

Wow, there was a data breach. Ooops. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/apr/16/us-police-officers-public-officials-crowdfunding-website-data-breach

This is very simple to address. The highest levels of authority must make it known very clearly to police officers and other officials that such activity will not be tolerated. I’m in the camp that believes that these people should be given a chance to recant in public, and if they do so, they can keep their jobs.

Thank you!

Just last week oh-so-woke and understanding Kinzinger was saying how the Dems were the “Mommy Party” and how the GOP was the party of responsibility that people should vote for. He does or says one good thing out of a hundred and some Dems think we should get on our knees and genuflect every time he Tweets something like this or appears on some TV news show to attempt to show how “reasonable” he is.

He may not be a Trumper, but he has always been a conservative wingnut, and as you said, he is mostly pissed-off that many in the GOP are saying the quiet parts out loud. Why isn’t he screaming daily about the GOP attempts to disenfranchise voters by enacting discriminatory laws? When he starts screaming that GOP members should be thrown off committees due to their support of racist voting legislation, then I will give him his due.

Oh, and this is totally OT but very funny, especially when you think about the RW assholes who believe they are the only people on earth who have ever suffered:

The obsession with a return to faux-Classical architectural style is one of the more baffling things about the MAGA movement. Is it just a blanket rejection of modernism in all things, including architecture? Is it because the style is associated with predominately White civilizations (at least in pop culture)?

Maybe someone should inform these idiots that the ancient Greeks probably didn’t look white enough to qualify for Republican country club memberships.

How about a White Know Nothing/Do Nothing Caucus? Can anyone name a single legislative accomplishment by any of these idiots? Plenty of damage done, but not a single positive act. Or maybe they should be the Troll Caucus, since trolling seems to be their only skill.

No matter how many times he publicly claims, while admirable, that this is not who the GOP are…it’s important to remind Adam that this is EXACTLY who the GOP are,

Ruh-roh! McCarthy is definitely in trouble – he clearly disavows the idiotic and readily disproved idea that this is a “Christian nation.”

“America is built on the idea that we are all created equal and success is earned through honest, hard work. It isn’t built on identity, race, or religion,”

Nevermind all that’s wrong and assumptive in the rest of that statement…
