Those’re certainly be the kinds of thing he’d hold onto the documents for, as would any possibilities of taking revenge on his antagonists.
All of these are possibilities beyond selling. Which he intended to pursue are not clear from the public record.
Jack be nimble, Jack be quick. Jack now be down in Georgia.
BREAKING: talk about burying the lede. RAFFENSPERGER will be interviewed by Jack Smith’s office IN ATLANTA on Wednesday. Is Smith prosecuting trump in Georgia? Sweet baby Jesus, I can’t keep up! https://t.co/tToiOhuSMS pic.twitter.com/8ASrvBDo9a

So the leaked audio tape is an exoneration because… because… what?
I know Trump operates on the assumption that his fan base just accepts whatever he says, but it’s going to be fun to hear how he’s going to explain how saying on tape that he shouldn’t have the docs really means that he should have the docs.
Yes and how incompetent is DoJ that they ‘spun’ a tape to “exonerate” him. It’s all utter nonsense.
French did dominate. That’s why lingua francas are lingua francas. French was the language of diplomacy and trade until after WWI.
I can list a whole bunch of scenarios where people fail to provide the contextual cues needed, too. Doesn’t make them right.
Probably a good time to remind people that as SDNY was about to obtain access to the recording Michael Cohen made of Trump ordering a hush payment (which will be used in NYS trial), Trump released it preemptively.

It happened at the equivalent time, too: Trump got access to what had been seized from Cohen by intervening in that Special Master process. And then, voila! the tape got released.

That’s a telling pattern…but why? How does releasing damning evidence help him? What was he trying to do? Did it work?
Good question. Maybe trying to get ahead of it in order to spin it or trying to influence the jury pool who may be supporters? His behavior is increasingly bizarre these days. Trump and the two women in the room laughed about his divulging classified information to them. That was very disturbing to me.
ETA: No I don’t think releasing the Cohen tape worked as it will be played at the trial in New York State.
Deep State Technology.
No way they let him keep the Coke Button after he loses the election.
FBI apparently couldn’t imagine, “couldn’t believe it if it smacked 'em in the face” - that Trump cultists would do damage and violence. Was the FBI just happy it wasn’t (shudder) a BLM protest?
Steven D’Antuono, FBI Washington Field Office assistant director in charge repeatedly tried to tamp down agency failures and investigation of Trump for 10 months.
The agencies and the committee did not investigate why evidence and recordings from ex-Marine Oath Keeper Rasheed Abdullah about Stewart Rhodes and others ginning up “the base” were not followed up on.
Good thing that the FBI started these! FBI and their little “Homeland Security” peeps can collect information in the field and get it to those that need this information with fusion centers.

FIGs function as the primary mechanism through which FBI field offices develop human intelligence; identify, evaluate, and prioritize threats and emerging trends within their areas of responsibility; and support the FBI’s investigative efforts.
The FIGs failed. So does it sound like the “FIG” has something to hide?
If they wish to continue to be known as JTTF: Joint Terrorism Task Force, they should actually do their job. Otherwise, they might be nicknamed the:
Jack-off
Time
Task
Force.
Otherwise known as bias in favor of these right-wing groups who provided ample investive tips. The FBI did not defend our country. Was it because the tips were pro-democracy and anti-right-wing authoritarianism?
Story is two years old but still stunning. So, the girl was in a suicide pact with another 12-year-old. But what led her (probably with encouragement from one of those suicide sites on the dark web) to kill her father first?
