Judge Accuses DOJ Of Misleading Her About Key Doc Related Mueller Report Release | Talking Points Memo

I’m not sure you’d have been all that happy in law school. You know what they say: Law school is the opposite of sex. Even when it’s good, it’s bad.

Like you and @emiliano4, I too spent my time playing in bands, back when the money was good and we were paid in cash, instead of pursuing something useful like law, which my mother would’ve much preferred.

On the other hand, had I done so I likely would never have made such indispensable contributions to the musical arts as songs about the joys of gatitas* or dancing popes.

Just sayin’.

I love that the Trump site made sure to include reposting widgets for both Facebook and Twitter. That ought to get a bunch of his fans’ accounts suspended.

Haha, you definitely shouldn’t. Playing in a band is way cooler.

I knew exactly which administration this was about since it mentioned the Mueller Report.

It’s a good question and I’m curious. In making this decision, they will be thinking about the precedent the order sets re disclosure of internal memos, deliberations, yada, yada, yada.

yea, if this is to have any sting, bar complaints and sanctions on those who signed the pleadings is where that starts.
Otherwise, it just so much outrage.

LOL. Finally. Sure, the Giuliani thing was a tempting time to say it, but that’s more of the amuse-bouche. This…THIS is where the rubber will start hitting the road hopefully and may finally justify saying “it begins.”

Yep hahahaha…

“one-way communication” LOL! Who’re the ones really afraid of debate and contrary fact and idea who are trying to get their say without anyone being able to rebut them by silencing all dissent…heck, not even allowing the opportunity for it? Pathetic. I hope this gets the treatment it deserves…just a constant, neverending, relentless storms of shit thrown at everything that comes out of it.

FIFY!

Judge Jackson has now ordered the department to produce the memo in full, but is giving the department two weeks to say whether it wants her ordered paused for an appeal.

Please help me out here—why in God’s name would the DOJ headed by Biden appointee Merrick Garland appeal this ruling? Am I missing something? Wouldn’t the Biden DOJ be champing at the bit to release the memo? Wouldn’t they have the memo ready to release as soon as Jackson issued her decision? Why would they wait a minute longer than they have to? Hasn’t Garland and every other major player in the DOJ read the memo already? Has it been kept under lock and key? Is Barr carrying the memo around between his sweaty butt cheeks and Garland needs to ask permission to see it?

[viewed full size, that emoji is kinda creepy]

Is that one of yours? What instrument do you play?

Speaking of “Can’t stop” … my cd’s (actually collections of tunes) so far are called:

Playing With Myself
Still Playing With Myself
Can’t Stop Playing With Myself (and others)

My current collection in progress is tentatively titled, Can’t Resist Playing With Myself: I Refuse

If you recognize a theme there it’s because I’m playing/singing all the parts on 97.836% of the stuff.

These are awesome. I would love to hear more.

That song was from one of my bands. I played bass. I have been successful in stopping and have spent all that extra time gardening and planting hard wood cedars in a reforestation project on my land.
