And the lifeguard’s a Nazi an authoritarian when it looks like a thunderstorm and she orders everyone out of the pool. Libertarian buttheads, I swear.

Until objectively proven wrong, I trace the New York outbreak tldirectly to the White House travel bans, which crowded approximately every American expat, international businessperson and traveler in the same, seven-hour customs line at once.

“As a Jewish-American who lost family in the Holocaust, I’m offended by any comparison to Nazism,” Polis said, choking up slightly, after a reporter asked about health orders “being equated to Nazism.”

As well he should be. They are using every dirty trick in their arsenal. Every loaded buzzword. All to discredit the humane and leverage approval for the monsters. They are monsters.

In WW2 your grandparents were asked to drop everything in their lives and march off to WAR, many of them never to return. Those left at home were asked to give up all the niceties of life and go to work in war production factories and shipyards were many worked 18 hours a day. Mothers put their children in company-run daycare to work in war production, kids scrounged junkyards for scrap metal for the war effort, and just about EVERYBODY bought “War Bonds” out of their meager wages to help Defend Democracy from the Fascist Threat.

YOU are being asked to sit on the goddamn couch and binge-watch Netflix while eating delivered pizza.

Think you can handle it snowflake?

It’s in the Dallas paper today that you can’t go into Gunnison, Co. unless you have Colorado license plate on your car. Gunnison is the gatekeeper to Crested Butte which is a ski area and they are doing their best to contain the spread.

What’s with the Tea Party-like backlash when lives are literally at stake? On one of the MSNBC shows last night, there was a health care worker who was blazing mad because of the traffic gridlock intentionally caused last night in Lansing as part of the protest against the governor’s stay in place order – and he couldn’t get to work and help care for and save people.

Tea Party is right. The whole thing smacks of organization and funding just like the Tea Party.

Same as with the tea party. Fully funded and sponsored.

I am embarrassed. Truly embarrassed. Not ONLY do these dumb MFers not understand HISTORY but they are such babies they can’t do a single thing to HELP this country and save peoples lives. If WWIII actually broke out they would have no idea what REAL sacrifice is. Whiners and snivelers.

Well, Meemaw and precious little Bella both died of the China flu within a week of each other–great-grandmother and great-grand lost to us. But they would have loved it that we triggered the libs by going to that rally the other day, and hugged them when we got home.

You should have seen some of the tweets in response to the head of nurses asking people to please not block the entrance to the hospital during the dunderheads’ “protest.”

Oy. No respect, no concern. I want my freedumb even if it hurts or kills someone else. Stunning.

The ironic thing is that the assholes that compare a COVID-19 shutdown order to Nazi behaviour are likely to be the ones most likely to don a brown shirt if the opportunity ever arose…

Trump has no monopoly on the art of projection…

Neville later said, “I should have said authoritarian, not Gestapo.”

It’s like an itch that bigots just have to scratch. A person’s a “_____”, so their entire lexicon then hovers around whatever bigoted names, metaphors, axioms until they get to insult the object of their affections.

That chart is a Democrat hoax! Even a chart that our beloved President can “read.”

Polis included Catholics in his litany of those persecuted by the Nazis. He should not have. Either he is simply ignorant, or he was very cynically playing to constituents (probably the former). Yes, there were some decent Catholics, but (1) As a group, they were not persecuted, let alone singled out for extermination, by the Nazis; and (2) The Catholic Church was essentially playing along with the Nazis, all the way to the end when they helped prominent Nazis escape to South America. The Catholic Church has a lot of evil on its hands, quite apart from all its institutionally supported predation on children. Of course, they refuse to be honest about any of it, but brazenly presume to dictate morality to others. Absolutely disgusting. A house of criminal frauds and the willfully deluded.
