Japanese Gather To Protest U.S. Military Aircraft In Okinawa | Talking Points Memo

The BBC reports that Japanese residents on the island of Okinawa have begun protesting the presence of 12 new U.S. military aircraft. The Osprey aircraft, still located in western Japan, are set to arrive at Okinawa’s Futenma base, which the U.S. has agreed to shutter once a suitable replacement is found.
