I live in Florida which as everyone knows has a Neanderthal for Gov but the surrounding states have not yet made it to Cro-magnon either so he’s sitting pretty. Not the same for VA. The asshole is there and he’s there for 4 years baring an unimaginable recall ( if they have that in VA ) so the best folks can do is wake up…realize a mistake and make it a long hard 4 for Youngkin or he’ll damn sure make it a long hard 4 for them.

You know, I’m reading this craziness about McConnell there and remembering how Tucker once said, when confronted with the total bullshit he spews on a constant basis, that he wasn’t a journalist. I forget what role he said he did play, and honestly had to scratch my head to think what established role there is that his antics would correspond to. And I think, in the end, that what he does is so meaningless, so divorced from not only reality but a world where anything anyone does matters, that we have to figure he’s a kind of organ-grinder’s monkey. He’s got a long chain and a collar around his neck, and he chatters and capers and grins and does backflips, and then he goes around with a cup and people give him money. I’m not saying it isn’t harmful, or that it’s unimportant. It’ll bring down a great republic, this kind of stuff, if we let it. But in itself, it’s so utterly meaningless and idiotic that it’s morbidly fascinating. “McConnell is actually an instrument of the left,” he says, with that trademark frown like he’s really got something to say. Fascinating. Simply fascinating.
