It’s grifters all the way down - everyone’s happy when the grifting is good, but when that sweet sweet dark money stops flowing, the knives come out.
I have precisely zero sympathy for anyone working in that klownshow, you’ve got to be a deeply damaged person to believe any of the bullcrap, and even more damaged to think “gee, that looks like a good job!”

The good old days were better when you’d have that one employee who wouldn’t be spoken to a certain way and would beat the crap out of the loudmouthed boss. Saw that twice in my early days in radio. You just don’t talk to some people with disrespect.
