Neither of these two is my favorite anything.
Trailing by 16 is phew for Doug, he’s got God on his side.
Having visions of a fierce Jack Smith towering over a beaten Trump slumped on the ground …
… with Smith growling
“WHAT’S MY NAME?.. IT DOESN’T MATTER … THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THAT YOU ARE DONE! … FOR ALL ETERNITY”
somewhat skewed but still clarifying view into the legal jeopardy the former president faces at the federal level.
What clarifying view…? The Don is down the legal rabbit hole in about a dozen different places and continues to be the darling of an increasingly Crack pot media and the minions willing to go to the mat for his right to be an unbridled criminal. Thrilled to see Mr. SMITH in the middle of this thankless fray…hoping for multiple indictments and convictions and being alive to see them.
Tucker’s probably pissed HE couldn’t get into Bowdoin. Trinity’s a fine school, but Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson should have been able to do better.
So seems like the 5th Circuit got enough nudges re: the pharma industry response to pathetically half-ass their ruling. This shouldn’t satisfy the industry tho, since this is still judges modifying a long-standing FDA approval for handwavy reasons.
“We do not hold that doctors have standing to challenge FDA’s actions whenever the doctor sees a patient experiencing complications from an FDA-approved drug,” the judges write. "Rather, we hold that on the record before us applicants know that hundreds of thousands of women will - with applicants’ own statistical certainty - need emergency care on account of applicants’ actions.”
“We do not hold that doctors have standing to challenge FDA’s actions whenever the doctor sees a patient experiencing complications from an FDA-approved drug. Rather, we hold they can do so only if they bring us anecdotes that may contradict significantly larger samples of data but align with us politically. Law!”
Are there shots of the Trump flotilla sinking?
A really good read. Here’s hoping James Murdoch ends up with the reins.
She seems to be good about getting recordings of evidence supporting her allegations; so, I gotta wonder if she taped Fox’s attorneys trying to game her deposition and discovery materials.
Thanks.
It was a golden moment in the campaign.
Just worth noting that the Wapo story is mostly regurgitating Aric Toler’s (Bellingcat) investigation from last week about the leak. Great Lawfare interview with him from yesterday explicates the weirdness of the whole thing.
Shorter: We judges need only look at one side of the picture. If a drug has any side effects we can ban it. Even if not having access to the drug means that more people will die.
Why do I think that that decision might be different if the people involved were male?
“Bowdoin’s a school for rich kids. I’m a rich kid! Why couldn’t I get in? Whaa whaa whaa!”
Prolly couldn’t get into Colgate or Middlebury or Williams either.
Really need a nice soothing puddy tat this morning. Thank you.
Abortion would be legal and free for every man.
Abby Grossberg thought all was fine working for Fux until she realized she was the sacrifice going under the bus.
