Ivanka Trump is in hot water over a photo she tweeted of herself holding up a can of Goya beans on Tuesday night, which could violates ethics rules banning the use of public office to endorse products.

Well to be fair, this will probably hurt Goya in the Latino community.
I never had a reason to dislike this brand. Now I do.

My wife just saw the picture in one of the Spanish language morning shows that are really popular with the mostly apolitical Hispanic homemakers. And she was pretty upset, Goya has lost her forever. Probably thousands more like her.
Robert Unanue should call the Carlyle Group and ask them if they are still interested in buying Goya.
Two observations:
Ivanka’s tweet will only hurt sales, as “whitey” won’t run out to buy Goya products because of this and Latinos will be turned off.

I am sorry but this article’s breathless claims about possible ethics violations has me laughing out loud. I can’t get “Ethics? We don’t need no stinking Ethics” out of my head.
This article is like an article about Jeffrey Dahmer jaywalking on the way to his latest “dinner.” Of course, Ivanka is selling Goya Products while a White House official. That is who she is and what she does. The rules don’t apply to her.

I know it’s been said before, but the look of Ivanka and Jared are really the stuff of nightmares.
One more observation:
Ivanka is holding that can of beans like her dad holds a bible.
The picture is already on the Spanish Language morning talk shows, complete with heaps of disparaging commentary, those homemakers that had not heard of the Unanue stunt, know all about it now.
The same dead darkness that shark’s eyes have.
That’s nice. Too bad nothing will be done about it.
They’ll have an opportunity to try something different after January, though, and that should gladden some hearts.
